Well here, at long last, are the photos from Bank Holiday Monday. At least we didn't get any rain, which we would have had if both of us had stayed at our own homes.

Christine and I went to Greenway House which is well known for being the home of Agatha Christie and her second husband. However the history dates back to Elizabethan times, the house is Georgian ... and there is graffiti in the library done by the US troops who were based there during WWII

It is situated on the edge of the river Dart ... so a lovely location for such great history.

Their bedroom.  Max Mallowan used his camp bed travelling all over Egypt, etc, and apparently got so used to it he continued to sleep on it even when settled back in England.
