That was one of Mum's phrases and certainly fits todays weather ... it's just yukky out there!

Clinic was good today, with patients ranging from 3 to 90 ... so certainly "all shapes & sizes". Sadly (for the boy) the 3 year old was actually an in-patient as they were running tests to discover what was wrong with him

Now home and just here for a shortish time ... one thing I do need to do is phone my aunt as it's her 95th birthday today.

But, before I go -

27. Who was your worst teacher/professor? Why?
At school we had a chemistry teacher when I was do my A levels ... he was a nice man, but a rubbish teacher - we all failed the exam (that says something, doesn't it?)
However the real winner was an English teacher when I was 12 .... I was due to have her again my last year before O levels, and she said she didn't want me in the class as I would fail and it was a waste of the school's money ... yes, that was her comment. Mum & Dad insisted I took the exams, in another teacher's class, and offered to pay ... however I got a grade B for langauge & a C for literature ... so, 2 passes (and, no M&D didn't get billed) ... And this is why, until I discovered fandom, I never attempted to write.

What a crap teacher!

I had one once tell my mum that I didn't have the right sort of analytical mind for geography, to which her response was "Well, she's not going to take it anyway!" (I can't remember if I'd formally handed in my GCSE options at that point, but I know I'd already made my mind up that I was taking history instead).
