debris4spike | The ID Card Saga Continues!

I had expected when I had my work ID disappear 2 weeks ago, had it cancelled, and ordered a new one then I would be over and done within the week .... Oh, no, not this time.

Yesterday as I started work a colleague from the respiratory team asked me why my card was on his desk! Yes, it had just turned up that morning. So I went and spoke to Staff Bank (who officially emply me) to find out why my new card hadn't arrived, and if it was not done, could I get my old card re-instated ... and a £5 refund on the purchase of the (at present) missing new one.

As of today, the card is reinstated ... they are still "looking into" the refund!!!!!!!

Last night Tim & Claire came for dinner ... they had invited themselves round on Sunday evening. So I was busy shopping and cooking yesterday afternoon, thus no real computer time other than to post my photo_scavenger challenge.

Work today was good ... well, we finished early, so that is always a win!

And, now I have already posted some icones & done a Snowflake, although I am a bit behind with those, so that's something I need to think about ... but, as ever, before I sign off here

24. If you could switch two movie/book/TV characters, what switch would lead to the most inappropriate movie/book/TV show?
I think placing Spike (especially a BtVS season 2 Spike) in most TV shows would liven things up ... but maybe placing him somewhere like "Call the Midwife" would be a total disaster

25. How often do you stay up past 3:00 a.m.?
Not often these days! I think the last time I did was when I sat with Dad while he was dying ... I maybe dosed for about 1/2 hour all night. (Jiffy slept the night through, though!)
