Yesterday I ended up working a 6 hour day, and hate to admit how exhausted I was when I finished.  However the good news was that I was fine during the actual work ... so I shall focus on that good news.  One of the physiologists I work with is visiting his family in India, so I have less clinics for a couple of weeks.  however yesterday I was asked by another physiologist if I could be her nurse/charperone for 2 different clinics with her.  So, that was my yesterday ... rather than urology (as normal). I spent the morning working with oesophageal testing. and the afternoon working with lower bowels.  So, similar, but different.

Today I worked, which is also unusual as it's a Friday, but the clinic was going really well, until I had one patient fall over a bin  (and they are almost 3' high) ... his excuse was that he was wearing a mask which meant he couldn't see where he was going.  So, what had he been doing for the last 22 months?

Now here and its raining (so no walking), so I doing some LJ stuff, and maybe even catch up on the Snowflake challenge.  But before I do that ...

6. How often do you binge-watch TV shows?
I tend to watch & re-watxh DVD's so it's quite often that I watch through a full series.

7. Have you ever saved an animal's life? How about a person's life?
I don't know if it counts, but when DJ caught strangles I spent the worst day of his illness standing with him holding a buket of water and continually wetting his lips to get water into him.  I don't know if he would not have survived that day without me, but seeing someone suffer it was nice to fee I was helping him - both physically, and emotionally of keeping him company.
I work in a hospital - so hopefully my help has been part of quite of few people getting better!

I'm sure all the work you've done as an osteopath in the past and now in health care have contributed to people's wellbeing and maybe helped to improve someone's life so I'm sure that counts too!

I am now picturing your patient wearing his mask Lone Ranger style, over his eyes rather than his nose :)
