I don't really spend much time over on DreamWidth, but got a link to the comm threeforthememories where you decide on 3 photos to show a year ... so this is my post :-

I love this idea of showing a year in 3 pictures ... so, here goes. It was very hard to decided as I take hundreds of photos, but these ate the 3 I have decded on

Gulp ... I am now 60!
This photograph was taken a couple of days before my birthday and I am with my 2 "baby" brothers. The whole immediate family were there to celebrate with me, so a special weekend.

I went to Keswick Christian Convention. It is the place where Mum & Dad had their first holday, and I had always said I would go. I was there on the first day we were allowed to sing hymns again ... and the hymn was a family favourite (Great is Thy Faithfullness) ... and there were tears on my cheeks when we had finished. However after 18months of silence in Church there were many tears throughout the gathering.

I went to London for Remembrance weekend, as I have done for a few years (baring last year). here I am the day after the Sunday, to which I was at the service, in front of the Cenotaph

Nice pics, Deb. I see a real resemblance in the brother on the left. (I look like my brother, too.)

That's the younger of the 2 .... we are quite alike in character as well
