Why Does The Supermarket Bother?

I live about 5 mins walk from Lidl and use it as my corner shop ... milk and some fruit/veg are easy to pick up there. Like most of the supermarkets this Christmas they are doing special offers. For me, Lidl's is doing a daily deal and most are totally random, however today they had Christmas candles on offer, and as I had to go next-door to collect my prescription I thought I would look at them. However, I am told that they are not on sale at this branch! So, all in all, a waste of time to do special offers!!!

Work today was OK, and I was home on time, so nice. Now I want to make a couple of icons as I have a tough challenge I am working on for somein30 and want to change my bed linen as well ... so bits to do. Before I go -

I suppose the offers are only available in the larger stores — they need to make that clear don't they!

Well if I had made a trip to the shop specially I would have been super annoyed.

Happened to me too with Lidl. I didn't check the offers from my local branch because I've thought I had the right flyer in my newspaper. Eh not. It was from some towns over, the next one. I never knew they were different. They don't write it in the flyer as far as I know.

Well I was certainly suprised, as I presumed that Lidl had all their offers at every shop
