It Seemed A Good Idea, At the Time

... but when I heard the alarm clock this morning I did wonder why I had said I would work this morning!

However in the end it was such an easy shift ... our first was an 8 year old who wanted to be at school!  We then had 2 no-shows, and 1 cancelled due to Covid ... and one elderly gentleman ... so all in all I was home early!

This afternoon I have got cards & parcels in the post ... I have one more letter to write, but that is a job for another day (at least the card is written, addressed etc, so all I have to do is write the letter, then post the card)

I do hope that the rest of you are getting organised, as well ... I am worried that I have missed something important on my to-do list, as I am never this organised!

So, now it's time to get some ironing done, before tea ... but ...

I am not getting organized. The mister and I haven't even written our first card! We have some kind of mental block putting together what the heck we even did this year.

True - hard to write about a year with a few blanks. Still, at least this year I did get away, unlike last year.
