Challenge #7
In your own space, tell us about 3 fandom resources, spaces, or communities you use or enjoy. (One or two is fine, especially if you're in a smaller fandom!) Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

I am sure most of you know more than I do ... but here are a couple of links.

1. A lot of people have mentioned about learning basic iconing, and if you want to have a go, free of charge (and even without the obligation of sign-in if you want) then Ipiccy is a good starter ( and in fact I still use it from time to time). Their advertising says "Photo Editor. Collage Maker. Graphic Designer. Everything you need to make your photo awesome online"

https://ipiccy.com/

2. For those who know me well know I love old & obscure TV shows. Well, I get my screencaps form Lisa’s Video Frame Capture Library. There are currently 60672 images on the site and it was ast updated 01/02/2015, so I hope it doesn't dissappear any time soon. There are caps for -
Alias Smith & Jones
The Avengers
Blake's 7
The Man From U.N.C.L.E.
The Professionals
U.F.O.
Wizards and Warriors
The Wild Wild West
The Lord of the Rings

It's always good to have a free image site in your hip pocket... I'm going to check out that ipiccy site when Snowflake is over and I have more time. Without a rec from someone, it's hard to know what's really free and also useful.

Yeah. It's always a worry when fandom sites like that get out of date and if they'll disappear. If Lisa isn't around anymore (which is, sadly, too possible), you might want to reach out to squidge.org and talk to Walter. He's doing an amazing job of rescuing some older sites and may have some suggestions for you.

Thanks for sharing!

I didn't know about ipiccy and it is definitely useful to know a photo editing site that is online and doesn't require downloading. Thank you for the recs!

Thank you for both of these! A friend of mine taught me icon-making basics a long time ago, but I haven't tried in a while. This might be the time!
