As I said when I posted yesterday I took Brenda to Cotehele a stunning Tudor House. On the following day I took her to Castle Drogo, which is on the edge of Dartmoor and is the last castle built in England, seeing as it was only built in the 20th century! Sadly the eldest son died during WWI

What a fascinating building - once you said it was such a recent building I could see it - but it is so beautifully done. I love the Wendy House.

When I first joined National Trust, although Drogo is near, I wasn't really wanting to visit. Yet it is a beautiful building

That Wendy House is special ... why didn't I get one like that?!
