I have done the USA one in the past, but thought I would look at the European one as well this time.  However a couple of the USA States, and some of the European countries I have only seen a small corner of, but I can honestly say this list is correct by country.

When I was  teen we had a lot of European caravan holidays, and on the back of the caravan had stickers of each of the countries we visited with it.  Both Dad and i love(d) sight-seeing, so the travel was always with stops at points of interest.  Even last year I added Scotland to my UK visits (although haven't been to Northern Ireland (or Southern), the Isle of Man or Jerey (although that trip was planned, and has been delayed to next year).

But it was fun to list them ... and hopefully to think of places to visit one day.

Having visited very state around it but not WV makes it clear how it is sittingthere in the middle of the country flipping everyone off.

I went on a long tour round in 1989 ... and going to DC, meant I missed West Virginia ... must look into the State to see if there is anything special there.

You're well-traveled! Much more than me - the only foreign country I've been to is Canada (which I really like), and that's literally been decades.

Like you, I've been in every state that surrounds West Virginia but have never been there. Sometimes I wonder how that's possible but it clearly is!

Ironically reading this, I realise I have missed out a country - I have spent 36 hours in Canada, as we went to see where my Grandmother was born (in Toronto), and went to Niagra ... both of which I want to return to
