This Did Make Me Shed A Tear

I saw this yesterday on petzipellepingo page yesterday. I always find the actual figures amazing - as a colourblind girl, I have never met another colourblind girl, both at school, in real life, and now at work in the hospital. Yes it does affect my life, but not enough to stop me loving colour.

However I do wonder about the lack of brightness that the people spoke about. But back in 1979 when I first tried on contact lenses I know mum used to reming=d me thatmy first comment was how bright everything was ... so maybe it would be the same for me.

I remember when I got my first pair of glasses. I had no idea the world was so blurry until then, and everything was new again. I can only imagine what it would be like to be able to see the intensity of color for the first time.

I suppose once I am in Heaven I will see colours perfectly ... but then won't remember not being able to do so!

Add to that being short-sighted, and slowly losing sight in one eye, I just know to be thankful for sight
