Amazing - Easter Bank Holiday Monday
Friday, April 26th, 2019 04:13 pmYes, I loved my whole Easter break, and it was great we had such lovely weather over here.
However on the Monday Christine and I went to Worcester, a city I have never visited before. It was a coach trip, so other than a short drive to the pick-up point, it was nice to just be able to relax and chat on the way.
Certainly alovely city ... and here are photos of the cathedral. A stunning building, and amazing free to enter!

Edward Elgar's memorial window

Stanley Baldwin - one of our Prime Ministers

Tomb of Sir John Beauchamp of Powick and Alcester - 14th century

Prince Arthur's tomb (brother of King Henry VIII)

King John's tomb

The Crypt - the oldest part of the building

The Easter Garden

The West Window ... and, there is actually a pink giraffe on there!
