It's awful. You should be able to go to 'friends' rather than feed'. Although I just switched back to the old style, wholesale - I tried the new one for months and just gave up.
Glad you are bck to how you want to be. I'm still using the old one. It tells me this every so often and asks wouldn't I like the new one and I think 'No, not really'.
Yeah, awhile back it started displaying that way on my phone for some reason and I hate it. It's really difficult to read there (I have my style set up the way I do for a reason) and it often won't show me more than a few "pages" of entries before it just won't load any more. So if my phone is my only way to view LJ (like it is sometimes when I'm traveling), then I'm probably missing stuff.
Really hoping they don't ever force it on my desktop!
