What A Day

Took the day off work yesterday to drive mum and dad to a funeral ... two hours, hot sunny day .... sad event.

 

We got there just early as there were roadworks .... to find an empty Church.

 

I went to the shop opposite and they looked in the local paper .... its next week!

 

So that was the dress rehearsal .... and a four hour drive!

The gap for the actual funerals seem to be really growing over here ... 3 weeks is not unusual!

Ouch... indeed a lot too early.
At last the weather was nice. *sigh*
