Star Trek Voyager Icons

My second set of icons this month has been made for startrek20in20 ... Round 56  This month it's an episode round, which I actually slghtly prefer.  The one I chose was Living Witness (season 4 Voyager), which is one episode I don't 100% like (!!), but what I do enjoy is the "what-if" scenario it picks up on.  Like the film Sliding Doors it follows what would happen if a moment of history had changed, and then it was viewed from someone else's eyes.  Those sorts of stories fascinate me ... which is why I love fan-fic so much.

Oh, wow, these are great. "Living Witness" is one of my top five VOY eps -- full of great meta and issues of historiography, plus all of the cast having an apparent blast at being evil. Taking KJ with the gun, of course! Plus evil!Chakotay and evil!Harry. Thank you. I'll credit, of course.

It's not one of my favourite episodes, yet I do love the "what if's" of the story.

Yes, I bet the cast had great fun playing their character ... yet not them. A good way for them to re-evaluate the show, and yet have fun doing it.
