So pretty! All my fave Spike shots, love the Oz one with the wolf and Adam is super. The B&W Spike & Buffy from S2 is brill with that dash of read. Some really clever stuff here. Love no 2 - great cut and colour and no 4 - such a great background. All so good.

Thank you - it is a good comm that has made some good challenges!

Oz is one of my favourite "minor" characters .... pity his story got a bit lost in the overall plot-line.

You made Giles/Joyce icons from band candy bless you! I've just tried my hand at a couple - why isn't there more G/J shipping in this fandom?

Of course I love One Girl in All the World from Lessons, the buffy, spike, Joyce one from becoming - why aren't there more fics and icons of that scene? It's brilliant. Wonderful the way you faded Joyce almost to monochrome and yet I notice her more because of the contrast to Buffy and spike. I believe in you spike needs no explanation; and I just realized how meta "out for a walk" is, combining the quote from S5 (out for a walk, bitch) and turning it on it's head by pairing it with that image from TKiM.

And this is the first icon of Adam I've seen, much less one that's so cool and attractive.

I am trying to write a Joyce/Giles centric fic starting from this point, but can't focus ... I have promised myself that come the New Year I will get on with it.

Glad you loved my Out For A Walk ... yes, it is the turning of a "famous" phrase ... and really glad it worked.

Joyce/Giles fic? OH YES PLEASE! I have NO idea why there aren't more J/G shippers - in fact, I've hardly found any. And I loved the idea, I had hoped they'd get them together on the show. (And yet there are tons of Buffy/Giles shippers. Go figure.)

Oh exactly, and the way you used it I almost didn't recognize; leave off the b word from the original, and it just becomes a generic phrase...until I realized what you were doing. Very well done and subtle.

One of the things that fascinates me about the show is the way so many words, phrases, events and images are paralleled, repeated and/or turned inside out.

Of all the pairings that is the only one I can never work out - Giles/Buffy. Some of the others I find slightly wrong, some weird ... but some like Joyce/Giles need exploring more.

I think that's why this show stays with us ... it has something for everyone ... on so many different levels.
