Day 1 - a picture of myself.
Day 2 - 20 facts about myself.
Day 3 - favourite quote.
Day 4 - What are you afraid .

Day 5 - 10 Favourite Songs

So I have to find 10 songs ... well, other than James nothing is going to be recent!

London City - James
Goodnight Sweet Girl - Ghost of the Robot
In My Room - The Beach Boys
What Is This Thing Called Love - Frank Sinatra
Can't Help Falling In Love - Elvis Presley
Can't Smile Without You - The Carpenters
Love Me Do - The Beatles
True Love Ways - Buddy Holly
You're The Inspiration - Chicago
Albatross - Fleetwood Mac

It was hard to pick 10 ... so maybe, as I click post I shall think of others!

London City - James (come on, you had to guess that one!)

There is something about this song that I love - it is my ring tone! I suppose it helps that I actually met James in London!!

Goodnight Sweet Girl - Ghost of the Robot

I do love their work (suprise, suprise). This is one from their first album, but this video is from a live performance ( with James & his son in the line-up)

In My Room - The Beach Boys

I love all the Beach Boys music, but this one, which is slightly different to their other surfing ones, is just very special.

What Is This Thing Called Love - Frank Sinatra

I am a huge fan of Cole Porter's music ... and love Frank Sinatra ... so a great combination for another slow sad song.

Can't Help Falling In Love - Elvis Presley

I love Elvis, and as you see on much of this list I prefer one of his slower pieces (hard to decide though!)

Can't Smile Without You - The Carpenters

Another song from the 60's ... the Carpenters were a beautiful brother/sister group.

Love Me Do - The Beatles

Had to have The Beatles ... they are popular with everyone. Another hard choice to picka favourite.

True Love Ways - Buddy Holly

Another slow song that I adore ... another star who died too young.

You're The Inspiration - Chicago

This songs brings memories of my first car! Tim made a casette of songs we both loved, and then it got stuck in the machine, so it was on all the time - this was my favourite on the cassette, and even though I have heard it thousands of times, I still love it.

Albatross - Fleetwood Mac

The ultimate track of my youth - yet still amazing.

I expect you knew them all!

Your songs are older than mine - heh!

I love The Carpenters and Chicago. There's nothing out there like those acts anymore.
