A Billion!

The next time you hear a politician use the word 'billion' in a casual manner, think about whether you want the 'politicians' to spend YOUR tax money.  A billion is a difficult number to comprehend, but one advertising agency did a good job of putting that figure into some perspective in one of its releases.

A.  A billion seconds ago it was 1959.
B.  A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive.
C.  A billion hours ago our ancestors were living in the Stone Age.
D.  A billion days ago no-one walked on the earth on two feet.
E.  A billion Pounds ago was only 13 hours and 12 minutes, at the rate our government is spending it.

Thanks, I've been messing around with borders for the last couple of weeks, I wanted to make my icons identifiable as mine, I will be slowing changing all my icons in the coming months.

I am not great with borders, so am jealous! I just need to practice more, I know.

It's dead easy honestly. Shrink it to 100 X 100 pixels, then zoom into the image making it really big, it will be all blurry, then use the paintbrush thingy and simply add in the borders, when you shrink it back to normal view.

Sometimes you have to use the "Sharpen" brush, when it is back to usual size, to make the person/thing in the icon stand out more.


Or for a plain normal border shrink the icon to 98 X 98 pixels and then choose "Add border" any colour you want and make it 1 pixel, this will result in a border around the icon any colour you want :D
