Yet again, yesterday I was truly reminded of that fact.  I had a really lovely Christmas Dinner at Tim & Claire's and got back her about 6.30 to find that there had been a postal delivery of a couple of belated cards, and one of them was from Marni.  Yes, I often wondered how many patients get a Christmas Card from their vets. which Jiffy always did.  This Christmas she sent me one with the note saying, "I miss you both".  So that really meant so much to me, both that Marni remembered me with fondness, but especially that she remembered, and missed, Jiffy.  When I took him there for his last "visit" I was so thankful she was on duty, but while talking she was also crying ... so, yes, she is one special person.

Yes, Jiffy, I miss you, as well.

As I said I also had a nice time at Tim & Claire's ... ate too much, but with the 1 mile walk there and back I am hoping the calories didn't count (but am avoiding the bathroom scales just in case!)

Today I have actually also done a 2 mile, damp, walk, picked up some shopping, done washing and ironing ... and now amm here.  So I am being a good girl (the rest of the week I can be lazy again)

As I said yesterday I have photos to post ... so you will get a bit spammed this afternoon.  But, ....

30. How often do you light candles?
Only when I have guests for a meal ... although over the last couple of days I have used candles to compliment the Christmas lights, rather than a normal 100W bulb.

Hope all is going well with you all x

As I said yesterday I went with Christine to Buckland Abbey - the ho,e of Sir Francis Drake, and originally a monestary.

The great barn from the monestary - This Christmas they had a "river of light"

They had made a hanging that showed the life of a monestary through the year - stunning
