December Photo Meme - Day 7 - Bright

When I saw what today's post was, I did wonder what I could take a picture of. This morning I woke up feeling rough, and ended up seeing my doctor, who told me I had a viral throat infection ... and that me throat looked red raw ... maybe I should have got him to take a picture for me!

However I got to Mum and Dad's at the same time as Dad returned from the shops with( this plant )

Mum and Dad moved into their first house together 59 years ago and he bought her a plant as a pressie ... ever year another one arrives on the kitchen table.  A nice bright spot in a day.
