Wouldn't it be great to have a friend that you could say anything to - someone who understood you, but someone you didn't meet in everyday life?

Nowadays we all know the disadvantage of "love across the internet" ... it doesn't often work out.

However You've Got Mail .... which is a re-make of Shop Around The Corner and was filmed in a time when e-mails, and chat rooms were fairly new.  Both films have 2 people who "hate" each other in real life, writing to each other ... and falling in love.

Both films show that sometimes we let our appearances hide our true feelings.  I love both films ... as I think most of us (or is it just me) would love to have someone that you can connect with truly, whatever else is going on in the world.

I've seen both and enjoyed both.

I do love old black and white movies.
