James - So Near, Yet So Far

Yes I am sad that James is only "up the road" yet I won't be seeing him.  To think another year gone past and no James hug.

But I don't regret my decision at all.  The weekend, other than the brief photo op would have been total torture for me.  Especially as I am emotionally low at present (although I know this isn't helping me at all!)

So, sorry James, but that is one taboo you have yet to help me break.

Hoping he will do a "day" next visit ... then I will be the first to buy a ticket.

If it helps, James isn't as touchy feely as before he was married. He still puts an arm around you during the photos. He is quite clear that now he's married and no more flirting silliness. He is one very married man these days. Patricia is a lucky woman. If she hurts him, she will have to disappear from public. His fans will hunt her down. Just kidding...sort of.

Yes, it's difficult to know he is so close and couldn't be farther away. I was within an hour of him earlier this year, but was a good girl who went to work.

Hear tell he is filming an American series guest star on SyFy channel here. He hasn't spoken about it much. Says he isn't able to yet. I've seen photos of him with a star from Warehouse 13. So it's a good bet he will be on that show a few episodes.

Oh yes, I have never had a real hug-pose on a photo, just the hug to say Hi when you have the pics ... that's what I meant.

True, I do pray that they are happy, I see her on FaceBook and she is mostly happy about James, but sometimes her posts are very random, to say the least !!!! (I do wonder at one or two of her statements!)

I had heard rumours of Warehouse 13 ... another show I know nothing about, so will have to keep my eyes open there.

It would be great for him to get a good role - he so deserves it, doesn't he?

Warehouse has been on for a few years now. I've only watched it a few times. Mostly when certain actors are doing a guest star bit. Yes, I want him to find his niche and have a long running series.

James has hugged me a time or two in the past. He doesn't do it as much anymore. He even states it up front, don't ask for a hug or a kiss. He's a married man with a jealous wife. That's what he said and I bet she is jealous. Who could blame her?

I have just seen that this weekend he confirmed he is filming 2 more episodes of the series ... so will have to check out which ones I need to look oput for!

Yes, he needs his own show ... but, whatever he is doing the main thing is that he is happy.

*g* - true, when you read back the early reports of his cons, you could get a kiss ... something I would never have dreamed of asking for. I guess she is one jealous girl from one or two comments I have seen around. She should remember she is one lucky girl, also!

That Masterclass was a great day - really fun to attend. If he does something I shall be there - and hope you manage to get to go then. Did you get a good picture this weekend?

I missed this whole thing completely - clearly I am now so far away from the James fandom. I wouldn't have enjoyed a huge convention though either, so you're not alone there.

Hugs. I'm so sorry you're feeling down. I totally understand about missing James and the reasons for it. I've missed seeing him recently a bunch of times. Mostly time and money reasons for me. Hugs. I hope things turn around for you soon.

Hang in there, sweetie. As kudagirl mentioned, he's not doing the huggy photo ops anymore. So in a way it's good that you didn't go and have the disappointment of him saying no hugs. Although, he'll probably still hug *after* photo ops, so there is that for next year, if you go to his next event. *crosses fingers for next year*

Thanks so much - as I said to Kudagirl, I have never actually had a hug-pose ... just nice to get that hello hug when he sees you.

Hopefully he will return soon-ish and do an event. Although I would also like to think he is too busy filming something great to get to travel! He so deserves a great show or film, doesn't he?
