Sorting Out Those Silver Linings!

I went into work today only to find I wasn't needed, they sent me to another ward ... where I also wasn't needed.

However on Monday (the only day I worked this week) I had to "special" a patient ... 8 hours of sitting had really tightened up my leg again.  So ward #2 said I ought to be at home ... so I have come home.

The grey clouds said "no money" ... but then the silver lining arrived ... washing can be done and hung out, more bread cooked, and I actually got quite a bit of my spare room done yesterday, so now I want to press on today.

Yesterday Toni popped round as she was visiting omeone in the hospital - so it was really lovely to see her.  We have both missed each other, and said so, and have promised to make an effort to visit.

So, sun is out, washing is on .... now I need tyo drink the rest of my tea, and get on ... not before doing my stretching exercise again!

That's unfortunate that you aren't getting that many hours but its great that you're getting a chance to get some things done :) I'm glad you had a nice visit with your friend :) Enjoy your productive day!!

Well, I have got side-tracked with the pictures and LJ ... but it's good to keep in touch (that's my excuse).

Off now to do some more sorting!

That's the thing that happens to me all the time when I'm sorting through things. I inevitably start a trip down memory lane and get sidetracked.

Now, get off LJ and get to work!! Lol jk :)

LOL - I was a good girl, and got on with things - although the boxes stay as they were, the ironing got done, and a letter got written.

So not a bad ending for the day!

Couldn't be helped - it was the first time I was really pushed, and in fact Ward #2 said that I could stay if I wanted ... but it would have meant more "specialing" which I don't like ...and neither does my leg! So, I called it quits.

Not that I got everything done, but at least did quite a bit (too hot to work to fast!) ... and that's my excuse!
