Day Off Today ... But ...

.... Still an early start as I had to take the car into the garage for it's service and MOT ... so this morning I wandered round the shops as well as visiting to a friend whose Mum was in hospital. Sadly we have just hear that she has died. Christine is my friend from Church, and her Mu was 90 last month ... so just that bit older than Mum & Dad, which really brings things home to me.

RIP Esther ... I know one day we will meet again in Heaven.

As I drove to the garage, though, I heard this song.

I love it and hadn't heard it for ages. So, hearing it again made me love it all over again - so am sharing with you.

Yes, indeed. It is never easy when it's time for us to say goodbye but I guess, all we can do is move on and remember and honour those people that are not with us today...

I'm so sorry for your friend and anyone who has Esther in their lives. Loss no matter the age brings up so many feelings.
