. Honest, I'm decorating!

Well, I'm on my way home from work - but did have to stop to mention a patient I have met this week.

She is a teenager, and her locker has pictures of singers/footballers on it.  She asked me who was my favourite,a nd just said that his picture wasn't there ... so she asked "who"

You can guess the name I said ... but her answer made me choke.

"Wow, he is great as Spike, isn't he"  So, a positive start as someone who knows what who I am talking about!  But she carried on her sentance .... "He is gorgeous, considering he is so very old!"

WHAT!!!!!

How can she say that? - especially as I'm a year older than James!

Well, you could look at it this way, either she was being funny as he did play a vampire who was 111 (?) in season 4 of Buffy. OR her answer was typical teenager and very Buffy-ish. If you recall, Buffy always thought Giles was old. Frankly, I thought he was "a sexy fuddy-duddy". :-)

LOL - I think the poor girl thought that if you were no longer a teen then you were "past your sell-by date"!!
