Day one from my front door to work.  Yes, I'm standing on my doorstep (that's my car ... a Matiz) ... and the hospital is the red building in the centre-back.

Yes the exchange and complete were simultaneous, last Friday. So, moved in, but still can't find a thing!

Sounds like you are happy in your new place. Can you find anything you need yet? I still have boxes from our move six years ago. I gave up finding some things and just bought new ones.

Just past the tree is a private road that is part of the complex.

I managed to find my winter coat, which I had wanted ... and need for this weekend. The rest will be found as quick as I can. One thing I still haven't located is my address book, so it looks as if I won't be sending Christmas cards at this rate!

I don't have a loft (there will be pics and details at some point) ... but the theory means I can't keep boxes ... I'm such a hoarder I'm sure I'll find a way.

If by loft you mean attic, that's why I can't find some of my things. I had the boxes arranged in the garage and my son decided to take some of them to the attic. No way am I going up there to dig through boxes. To get into the attic you have to climb up a drop down ladder. I nervous about climbing into it because it isn't a finished floor. Just has part of it covered and you could easily step through the ceiling. I'm a bit of a hoarder as well.

Can you see your house from anyplace you work in the hospital?

Is the hospital close enough to walk in good weather?

The door is about 6 mins walk away - brilliant ... but you can't see the house from anywhere on the wards.

Yes, once I've moved and decorated I will have loads of time, won't I!
