2011 - Day 303

Mum has about 4 or 5 orchids in the lounge ... these 2 are in flower at present ... stunning colours, and great to see them still doing well at over 3 years old.

I think ours is more luck than anything - or maybe just the place they live! As it worked with the first, any later ones have joined it ... and now we usually have one of them in flower.

These are really lovely. Your Mum has the touch. My mother was good with flowers too. I'm tend to kill everything.

Yes, mum is much better than me! I think I tend to leave things too long, then over-water to try to compensate!
