Went to Bude on Friday - and on the way went via Launceston to visit the castle.  I always think it looks like a "proper" fairy-tale one, don't you?

A castle on the hill. Imagine what it was like so long ago. No houses or roads - just Rapunzel!

*sigh* I will always be incredibly fascinated by period times... Just imagining what it used to be... Anyway, the castle is marvelous and yes, very fairy-tale like! :)
