2011 - Day 257

After an early shift I got back to sunshine - and so gardened for 1/2 an hour.

Now I must practice - we have a concert in 10 days time (my last with the orchestra) and I need to concentrate. I won't do orchestra stuff tonight, though, but will "murder" Mozart ... his clarinet concerto is a beautiful piece of music (when played well!)

I didn't realize that you would be leaving your orchestra. Is there another in Exeter that you can join?

Bude is 70 miles away - so will have to leave, although I shall miss it.

I shall see if there is something in Exeter that I can get involved with ... if not, I will just try to play "for fun" ... but regularily to keep my mouth and fingers focused!

That piece looks tough! Sometime you'll have to upload video of you playing!

It is hard-ish ... but I don't ever expect to get note perfect with it, although some bits are OK. Actually one of the bits in this photo which looks very hard is actually written nicely for a clarinet!
