On my way home from work I did what seemed to be a weekly “hobby” ... filled my car with petrol. It may be a small car, but it still costs £40 to put the fuel in.

My goodness! How much a liter? Our latest price was $4.05 a gallon.

LOL - That was complicated ... I had to work out litres, then English gallons, then American gallons then change the pounds to dollars!

The figure I came up with (which will be aproximate, now!) is $8.25

Is that $8.25/U.S. gallon? Internet says price in London is approx. $10/U.S. gallon. In Durango, the best price in town is $3.55 per gallon.

Yes, that's a US gallon - our gallons are bigger so makes it look more expensive.

Sadly petrol is an expensive, but necessary, pay out, isn't it?
