The problem is that many houses are pre the popular use of cars. The house in the picrure was built in 1930 ... and in those days cars were for the rich, only.
My new (I hope) house doen't have one either, as it's a re-build of a 1920's house ... so, again, no space.
Yes, but the historical value is pretty cool. I once had a house built around 1901. It also had no storage of any kind and no space for a garage, but it was (architecturally speaking) the coolest house I've ever lived in.
That's a dual step both happy and sad seeing your things go into storage. Hope it won't be for long but in the meantime enjoy spending time with your Mum and Dad and Jiffy.
