Went shopping this afternoon - there's a M&S and a Sainsbury's near us ... Mum & I went to M&S ... and see how the car-park/walkway is laid out.

Oh, isn't that lovely. So much nicer than just an expanse of asphalt or gravel.

I love that they make an effort with the outsides now. Shopping is a much nicer than it was in the 90s.

It's amazing how a little greenery helps in everyday life. Shopping! A plant on a desk!! Flowers in a sick room!

This walkway would be so nice and cool. Here we only have wide spread of concrete that hangs onto the heat of the day to bake you was you walk for miles toward the store you want to visit. Seriously, the lots are so huge here they have markers with letters and numbers to remind you where you parked. It's 99 degrees here today so that bit of shaded walkway would have been very nice.

It's turned cold and windy here ... although, as my Mum reminded me on D-Day in 1944 they had bad weather then ... so having thought it wasn't correct at this time of year, who knows?
