Drove up to work from Bude today - this is about 15 miles into the journey ... still heading towards Dartmoor (on the horizon)



btw - just got in to Mum & Dad's ... drove back through pouring rain!

What gorgeous green. To bad it rained when you drove back but the people with gardens and farmers will be pleased to not have to water.

*g* - the views along the roads in Devon are stunning ... but, yes, we do need the rain.

Glad the netbook is up and working - no excuses for lack of posts!

I love country roads like that one, driving down them of course, you know, not getting out! LOL

... but you need to walk and breathe deeply of those country "smells" ... stretch the legs climbing up the hills ... see what you miss out on!

Ack! I would be be sucking on passing car exhaust pipes if I was out there too long.... Raised and bred and living next to a motorway cant possibly be good for me LOL

Yes, but if you crossed into the fields (green stuff on the picture!) then there would be the smell of cow pats to balance out the exhausts!

*grin* ah the only good thing bout long car rides beautiful scenry. Good thing about country road (not country side roads because while they may be pretty I have nothing nice to say about them.

Some of the scenery we have is stunning ... trouble is we don't often stop to look, do we?
