2011 - Day 111

Had a long day today (not long got in) ... and started with a small computer course for my shift-booking, then a 9 hour shift. I had about 20 mins between the 2 and sat in one of the many gardens within the hospital to phone Toni for a chat ... and took the photo -

That is a relaxing spot. 9 hour shifts (or longer) can really be tiring. Have a good rest and enjoy the weather when you get the chance tomorrow.

These gardens are great - I shall try to take photos of more of them as the year progresses.

Yes, 9 hours seemed long, but if you do a "long-day" or a night duty it is 13 hours!! I've yet to sign up for a long day - don't think my brain feet would cope!

Hope to have a good day - although mum has a load of gardenning projects lined up

Our hospital has wee gardens within the structure, too. But they are not as nice as that one.

Very pleasant. It's too bad that is not accessible to wheelchair users. Is there another part that is?

Yes, I walked along a pathway that came out of double doors. If I had gone straight, rather than turning left, I would have ended up in the space just off centre on the pic.
