2011 - Day 91
Friday, April 1st, 2011 08:17 pm
I had to take Jiffy to the vets again tonight, as he has a "poorly ear" ... the even worse news was that his favourite vet was on holiday!
The vets is at the bottom of the hill - and the trees at the top facing us is on Isumbard Kingdom Brunel's land - this was his retirement home that he was building, but died before it was finished.

Seems that you had a great day with the weather nice and sunny.

Date: 2011-04-02 08:42 am (UTC)Yes, Brunel's place is still there - and has been bought (some years ago) by a Church group that uses it for weekend retreats, holidays, etc. In fact about 4 years ago one of our Chapel members wanted to be baptised (by immersion) and we used the swimming pool to have the service.
It was grey in the morning, but brightened up nicely!
