Maybe this is why I've never been loved ... I haven't a clue as to what should be on the list ... or, maybe once I start thinking, I shall make it an impossible list for anyone to accept!  However I also realise that lists like this are impossible ... so maybe someone will tick just a couple of the boxes, one day.

1.  Share my faith ... and accept that my faith is very strong.
2.  Accept that my family have a huge pull on me.
3.  Be willing to go into places first ... to walk into a room of people is a nightmare.  So having someone 1/2 a step in front of me would be great (or maybe just holding my hand would work!)
4.  Enjoy an evening in watching old films.
5.  Enjoying walks on a beach.
6.  Visiting new places - cities, castles, Churches, etc.
7.  Make me a cup of tea, the way I like it, and preferably served with a jam doughnut.
8.  Be willing to let me squeeeeee over my fandoms.
9.  Accept that I love jewellery ... a lot, but not so keen on make up!
10.  Help me to come out of my shell.

It wasn't as scary as I thought ... or maybe I'm not as weird as i thought ... or maybe I need longer to work on the list !!!!!!

That's a reasonable list! I do believe there is someone out there for everyone who wants it.

Have you prayed over this list?

That's how I met my husband. Well actually, we met online, but once I discovered he displayed all the qualities on my "list," I knew he was the one. And I probably prayed over that list every night for 2 years.

Hadn't thought about that.

I think until I discovered LJ I had always just presumed I would never meet anyone ... weird that having friends who love and support me have opened up a space I didn't really know I had!

I have never really prayed for someone as I feel that it's wrong - we are promised God will supply our needs ... I have everything I need ... jsut extra is greedy!

Oh yes - I know that ... I suppose knowing I am loved by friends has made me aware of the missing piece, that I didn't even know was missing until recently!
