I've just realised it, but I never posted a picture of the main entrance of the hospital that I work at!  I'm not usually able to take my camera because of lack of security, but today I had to take a load of paperwork in after my shift.

So ... I give you "The main entrance of The Doyal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Heavitree)" ...

Looks more like the schools here than the hospitals here. I wanna know what its like inside, ha. I spend so much time at hospitals. I hate them! But that one looks so different, but I guess its cause you live someplace so different from me.

Sadly I won't be able to take any indoor pictures ... wish I could.

I learnt in the past that pictures that seem boring are interesting for others to see what our "normal" looks like.

Looks quite modern. It's a large hospital. Is it close to where you live or where your parents live?

It's reasonable new ... 1 mile from Tims (so I park at his place and walk ... otherwise its £8 parking!) ... 30mins drive from m&Ds ... 80mins drive from Bude.

So, if it does truly work out I will be moving between there and M&Ds. (Save time and money)

No, sadly ... but I know what you mean. It's just a reallly bright entrance area - to give a positive welcome (well, that's the aim!)

This really is a nice looking hospital. Ours are tall, grey and basically concrete boxes. If you have to go to hospital this is so much more appealing looking.

It's pretty new - and well laid out inside. This is the main entrance, and is bright and cheery to give a positive welcome (well, that's the aim!)

That's a rather nice looking hospital. It reminds me a bit of our main one - this is Noble's Hospital -

Actually, I would imagine the entrance must feel very similar, too. The long, high, roof just left of centre of my picture is made of panels of glass, and is the roof of the main entrance area - so very bright and sunny, just as yours must be.

I must take my camera and take a few indoor pictures one day.

I don't know if I'll get any pics inside - I don't have a locker, so only take the real basics in ... plus the confidentiality bit. So - maybe!

That looks nice and bright and modern. I bet there's not a splash of Baptist-church-basement green anywhere. (It's a particularly nasty shade of green paint that seems to have been all the rage for hospitals and Baptist church basements probably 60 or so years ago and some places never seem to have repainted. I'm sure that's not the actual name!)

I know what you mean with the green ... obviously enough of the colour was mixed to paint hospitals this side of the pond, as well!!!

I am loving it - truly suprising me, but in all honesty, it's an answer to prayer. I said that God would lead and He has.
