We have days of 30 - 40 mph winds here ... in fact when we first move here one of the dishes at the USA observation centre blew over ... and they are hurricane proof!
I must take a picture of the tree that is in (what was) Mum & Dad's garden
I have just had "THE" most stressful experience - went to make a cup of tea ... no tea bags ... went to the cupboard ... no spare ones! OH NOES! That really is a terrifying thought!
Also, just wanted to say how much I am enjoying all your photos. I tend to forget to comment, but your posts always brighten my day. :)
You are correct - as a Brit I get lazy (as most of us do) ... tea-bag in a mug and we are ready. But, if you want the proper taste it has to be tea leaves in a pre-heated tea-pot. Milk in cups first ... and serve!
And, it HAS to be boiling water for either - that was the main problem I had in the USA, you use coffee machines more, which don't boil the water!
It's a great tre, isn't it - and great for the centre of the town.
That must be a horrible discovery to find you're out of teabags *gg* Luckily you had to go out and buy some so we got to see that lovely tree and the signs to the beaches. I'm just curious what is the RNLI station? Can't figure it out.
