I took Jiffy for his normal second Sunday walk today - he loves his extra treat, but I was saddened to see that they have started building on the area that, until a few weeks ago, was a field.  Not open to the puplic - but green, at least.

2011 - 23

It was a darkish day - but, the soil is that dark red colour in Torquay.

That's a pity. What are they going to build? I hope something that at least looks nice and fits in the landscape. The soil is a very strange (for me) red colour.

*gg* I hardly wear white, so there is no danger in staining it. I once wore a white bikini when I was young and went swimming. Boy was that a mistake!!!! Everything showed *horror* So no more white for me to the beach or swimming pool.

What a sad view! :( It hurts to see that another piece of nature has vanished in favour of mankind. *sigh*
What are they going to build there? Houses?

Still, I like the colour of the soil! That´s something we don´t have here!

What amazing colours!

Sad to have lost the field though.

It is sad to lose open spaces. Gee, I've never seen soil that color.
