Say These Words:

Aunt, Route, Wash, Oil, Theater, Iron, Salmon, Caramel, Fire, Water, Sure, Data, Ruin, Crayon, Toilet, New Orleans, Pecan, Both, Again, Probably, Spitting Image, Alabama, Lawyer, Coupon, Mayonnaise, Syrup, Pajamas, Caught

Now answer these questions:

What is it called when you throw toilet paper on a house?
What is the bug that when you touch it, curls into a ball?
What is the bubbly carbonated drink called?
What do you call gym shoes?
What do you say to address a group of people?
What do you call the kind of spider that has an oval-shaped body and extremely long legs?
What do you call your grandparents?
What do you call the wheeled contraption in which you carry groceries at the supermarket?
What do you call it when rain falls while the sun is shining?
What is the thing you change the TV channel with?

That was bad - it's not a  great recording, but it's done now!

Phineas heard your voice, came running from the other room, jumped up on the computer table and put his head right next to the speaker.

I think he's in love.

I am still trying to imagine why anyone would need a word for throwing toilet paper over a house!

I'd have a go (at the meme, not the toilet roll chucking!), but I really don't know how to make a voice post. How did you do it?

It doesn't require any; all you need is a basic little microphone (they're dirt cheap, maybe $5 or $10 dollars, and can be found wherever stereo and computer accessories are sold.) Just plug it into the audio outlet on your computer, then go here:

http://vocaroo.com/

You can make as many test recordings as you like, then click "download" for the one you're satisfied with and it'll give you a URL link for your recording, to paste into your LJ post. :D

The toilet paper gag is something bored US teens dreamed up, much like the Chinese fire drill .

"rolls eyes"

Oh - thank you! I have a microphone built into the laptop - I know this because I can use Skype with my daughter without the headset. I've got a headset too...somewhere!

Yay! It works!

Deborah It's great to hear your voice again:D

I will have to do this one as well, but I hate my voice whenever I hear it back so there will be MANY test recordings *gg* But I think I will answer the questions in Dutch. That way whoever listens get a free short language course.

It's so wonderful to hear your voice! :)

This is such a great meme! Too bad I don't have a microphone. Then again, maybe it's for the best since my english pronunciation really needs some work... :D

That was so much fun! I enjoyed hearing your voice. It sounds like TP-ing houses is not a common pastime for high school kids in Great Britain. Which is just as well!
