2011 - Day 11

I realised that it was the 11th today - and hadn't got back swimming - so, that's where I went this lunchtime ... Holsworthy .... It's about 9 miles away, but easier, as the pool is a traditional one (Bude is a leisure pool), and they give free parking and concession prices for the unemployed.  Only managed 20 lengths, before my leg and back gave out ... but feel good now I'm back home again!

I wish I could go swimming but my days are full of work and driving my mother where she needs to go every day 4 times. When I get home and had dinner I can barely manage to keep my eyes open to make 2 or 3 icons for the challenges. But I'm glad that you went again. Good for you!!!!

As I hate the water, I try to go when the kids are in school, then people there are actually swimming - so it tends to be at lunchtime.

I am trying to get a bit of a routine going, rather than let life drift - which was happening with not working.

Good for you, getting back to your swimming. And 20 lengths is very impressive as far as I'm concerned.

I had built up to 34 lengths before Christmas, so want to get back into the habit of 2 swims a week ... if I can.

Not bad for someone who is actually petrified of water!
