Jiffy - Our Polar Explorer

As you know Jiffy lives with Mum & Dad in Torquay ... which is also The English Riviera. I took a couple of photos yesterday, didn't get round to posting, then we had more snow, so have just taken a few more -

Jiffy looked quite shocked yesterday - but has taken it in his stride - and gone out had fun, come back in and found the warmest radiator to lie against to warm up again!

Jiffy seems to enjoy the snow. Snow is very lovely and does make it seem more like Christmas.

We had two snow storms last year. Our two dogs do not like wet or cold. Their breed comes from Africa. They love the hot weather of TX, but had to be forced to outside last year in the snow.

It does make it seem Christmassy - and providing the roads are kept cleanish then it is great.

Our previous dog, Misty (a spaniel) hated rain ... and had to be pushed outside - that always seemed funny considering his breed!

We had an English Cocker we adopted while living in Germany. She loved water and snow. The boys would throw snowballs and she would try to catch them. It was funny to watch. The TX heat didn't suit her at all. We had to clip her in the summers so she could be cooler.

Beautiful pictures! I couldn't help but laugh out loud when I saw that second picture. It is obvious Jiffy was having a lot of fun! :D

When Jiffy went out yesterday he looked shocked - but now he's learnt that he can have fun - then come back in the house and lie in front of a radiator to warm up.

Jiffy is really enjoying himself - and then when he gets in he knows which is the hottest radiator, so he can lie down and warm up again - Doggy Heaven!

He is having fun - and can be fierce - well, birds fly over the garden - how dare they invade his space?

Still - warm radiators are indoors, so he gets the best of both worlds!

Snow on the Riviera! But Jiffy looks like he adapts and has a great time - outdoors and indoors.

Life is great in Jiffy-land - whatever the weather it's exciting! And at present he then runs in and finds the nearest radiator!

The snow can be such fun to play in. Jiffy is really enjoying it as he's running around. The best thing of that is to come inside and warm up. We have some snow here but it mainly turned to ice. Driving is a pain as only the main roads are cleaned. We "skate" on the rest of them.

Where we are, most of the main roads are OK - but none of the side roads are, as it soon turns tyo ice.

Jiffy enoys life - and at present he then plays in the snow, and immediately rushes in to find the nearest radiator to thaw out in front of!

It is pretty - and Jiffy is certainly having fun - especially as he then rushes in and heads straight towards the nearest radiator!

The snow is thawing - but then it froze, so we have lots of ice now ... altough the rest of the country have both snow and ice.
