Icons - BtVS, Vampire Diaries ... & Twilight

debris4spikeI have been trying to get another set of icons done before the weekend, as I don't get any decent pc time when I'm at Mum and dad's ... there always seems something else to do, or dad is using his own computer!
These are made for Round 3 of

versus20in20 and I have Team 1 ... which had to include at least 3 of 5 fandoms, so these are of Buffy, Vampire Diaries, and (believe it or not) Twilight! Here are 3 teasers -

However, it was good to do icons of charactors I don't actually like!

Actually doing the 3 Twilight icons I did was good - so yes the challenge was interesting ... I also tried doing a few other characters form the 2 shows - good prompts.
I do find the 7 sins hard - had to do it a couple of months ago for another comm - it's one that I do find tough, but good!

Date: 2010-12-10 08:45 am (UTC)But, it was good to look at "incorrect" vampires .... and as I don't watch True Blood (which was the other option) thought a couple of Twilight pictures ... then concentrate on the better things of life ... Spike, Damon, etc!

P.P.S. Underworld is epic. Cue Kate Beckinsale in lots of black leather, beating people up, handling guns like nobody's business and just being badass in general. Watch it.

Yes, sorry for those Twilight fans - but I just can't see why! Haven't noticed Underworld - but will look out for it, thanks.

I'll admit I liked the Twilight books when I first read them, not because they were good mind you, just entertaining. But that was before the craze got out of hand, actually when barely anyone even knew what Twilight was. Aside from nice colouring, the movies are terrible.

James Marsters (Spike) has read the Twilight books with his daughter, he admitted ... but said he doesn't like the films! Although like you, I will admit there is something good about the colouring of them.

Date: 2010-12-14 09:08 pm (UTC)Twilight: The books are great for what they are, which is tween literature. I found the movie adaptions have tried to make it more epic, and deeper, than it is. It hasn't worked. And poor casting choices have added to our suffering. But whoever did the effects and colouring is a very talented person. It's beautiful to watch if you don't pay too much attention to the main couple or the dialogue.
