Thank God For F .... Friends (& Fridays)

Yes, life is OK as I type this - it's Friday, so I can go to Mum and Dads and annoy Jiffy ... what else would I do?  It means I can have a couple of days from job-searching ...  I do give my brain a rest over the 2 days.

But, today I had a Waffle sent to me by jaded_jamie  ... Thank you, so much.

I had been having a low couple of days, and woke this morning very down over something ... so stupid I know.  Now I have my waffle to cheer me ... and a verse from one of my Psalms today.  It was quitea depressing Psalm in which the writer felt abandoned ... yet, he finished with an amazing thought -

"Yet -  blessed be The Lord, forever!"
Psalm 89 v 52

All in all my day is getting better.

I am slowly learning more about icons - in fact working on a Spike/Buffy Challenge at the moment (so can't use any!) ... but have managed to combine 2 pics to make one icon and beginning to work on blur, etc.

Have yet to even attempt the flickering ones, or moving ones ... but I'm slowly getting there - and having fun doing it.

Well you dont have to flicker them, you can animate them, like have two images and go from one to the other and back, or tell a story or, whatever :)

BTW I'm a little envious of you for having the time to enter competitions and to be able to find them. If you find a Spike/Buffy competition could you let me know I just love to do those thing but I can't seem to find them unless someone points them out to me. *stupid me gg*

Yes, I'm having fun - just gave Jiffy a bath! He loves those, and at present is having them every week.

Yes, the icons are fun ... and I am trying to learn and play, while I have spare time.

I have joined - btvs20in20 ... so might be worth looking at that. I am doing a Spuffy Vampire 20in20 one at present ... but almost wasn't allowed Spike, as he had already been snagged!
