Yes, Toni and her husband have gone to Spain ... the trip that was cancelled when the dust cloud was around, to see his daughter ... so I have a visitor for the week -
He loves his holidays - here he is allowed to rest on the seats during the day ... a no-no at home!
We have had some good walks - and more planned ... so that's good for me!
Kai came with his name, but is a common doggy name here ... I should imagine it is short for Kaiser. In England, during WWI ... and now in history lessons, the leader of Germany was called Kaiser Bill ... short for Willhelm III.
That's neat. Max has been the most popular name for male dogs in the US for several years according to Veterinary Pet Insurance records. Bella was the top female dog name. Guess we know where that came from. LOL.
We've had lots of dogs over the years. Homer, Susie, Misty, Billy Black Bear, Junior, Ruffles, and Kuda. Now Max and Athena. Most of our dogs came with their names.
Vicky, Scrappy, Perry, Misty, and Jiffy. They all have reasons for the choice, as well.
When Toni bought Jaykub he was 5 (and went to the stables, where I got him from) ... and he didn't have a name at all, which was just so, so sad. DJ, of course, was named for me.
I don't know what would happen if they did - Kai is a cutie, but tough ... although would probably end up worshipping Jiffy, just like everyone else does!
He was 15 months old when Toni had him - and was rescued at least twice ... now he knows his home (and hotel) and knows to appreciate the love he gets.
Kai is only here for this week, then a couple of days next week - then I have Jiffy visiting ... so it's a doggy hotel here ... but only one at a time!
