Yet More Flowers
Tuesday, June 29th, 2010 10:24 amSorry, friends, but I was out and about with the camera over the weekend - just in Mum and Dad's garden.
It all started because I noticed the amazing palm trees when I arrived ... don't they look stunning?
Then I walked around the back garden trying to capture some of the June flowers ...
Sweet William -
Maltese Cross -
Honeysuckle -
Sorry that I don't know the rest of the names ... I should have remembered to ask Mum!

Date: 2010-06-29 12:38 pm (UTC)I need to down load the pictures of my garden. Lately it's all veggies, but I have a small box of flowers. The hubby accidentally weed-whacked the marigolds in the rose bed. The red rose seems to have finished blooming for the season, but my yellow rose is going through a second bloom. The front garden is an overgrown mess. Hopefully I'll get to it this weekend.

Date: 2010-06-29 02:06 pm (UTC)The palm trees in the UK were a big surprise to me when we visited a couple of years ago. Not something I expected to see in a country that's at a more northern latitude than where I live. Has to do with ocean currents and stuff, I suppose.
The first picture looks like a rose or a peony and the last one looks like petunias. The only others that I could recognize, you'd already labeled. :)
