And, so I continue with my Picture Meme that I snagged from hell0kittyangel ...

Day 3 — Your parents

Dad has always hated his picture being taken, and since Mum had Bell's Palsey, then corrective surgery she hates it as well - but this was part of the group, that I took at Claires birthday meal ... it's in their kitchen.

For those who want to backtrack then here is a poor scan of them in 1952 on their wedding day.

I never heard one of my Grandfathers ... but the rest all have different styles!

Oh Mum recons I look like Dad's sister ... it's amazing what one person sees compared with another.

oh wow...

now i know even more pks! im surprised by the amount of people that i know that are pastor's kids...and this is like the 2nd time that ive heard that the second generation became a pastor too. id expect that pastor's kids would grow up not wanting to live a life of a pastor...

I suppose it's a bit easier as none of my family are/were full time pastors - although dad was for a time before he was married.

Yes, my long-term rl friend in USA is a missionary kid, as is her husband ... yet both have gone so far as to turn their back on their faith completely.

Awww...that's sad. That's kind of what happened to one of my old neighbors...I think.

It's surprising how satan can cause all these things to happen to cause people to stumble and fall, and eventually cause them to deny Christ.

Life is hard - and temptation is so much easier, isn't it?

I know how fortunate I am that my whole family are Christians - it is woderful to have that.
