Just wanted to say I loved last nights episode - and Damon gets a huge thumbs up!  I had never really liked Stefan over Damon, but in this episode Damon won a part of my heart!

Never thought I would say that - he was always the bad boy to enjoy in the story ... but last night was brilliant.

I adore Damon. I think he is a bit like Spike in that he tries to act like a bad ass, but is a sweetie down under it all. Stefan reminds me so much of Angel. I try to like him, but really hated how he lied to Elena. He had a bit of Angelus pop out when he was drinking human blood.

I had not liked Stefans brooding all along ... too Angel, and saw the analogy between the 2; but last night it was as if the Spike ~ Angel debate was back on my screen - Yes, Damon, so much the lovable bad guy, with Stefan the liar.

Damon grows on you. I just love his snarky remarks. I consider him the Spike of that show.

Yes, the whole change is so Spike in his story ... and his overall attitude ... I'm loving this show.

I also had flashbacks to the Angel-Spike relationship while watching the Vampire Diaries. Angel-Stefan vs Spike-Damon. You all know which type I support. Can't wait to see the next episodes.

I have been enjoying the series overall, but last night completely blew me away - the relationship of ... and between the brothers is brilliant. I have seen the Angel ~ Spike relationship all along, but this episode just brought it to life.

Yes, this episode was jaw-on-the-floor brilliant! It's my favorite so far. It revealed us completely different sides of both Damon and Stefan. It's amazing how much that changed the dynamics between these two brothers and made them even more complex and interesting.

And that dance... It was an unforgettable, magical moment in all its unexpectedness! I don't remember how many times I watched and rewinded that scene... :)
