Thought you might like to see what my brother, Tim, and Claire have done with their back garden - it took a long time when they started - now it is relatively easy to maintain.

Yes, they put the water feature in, as well -

The garden has so many unusual plants and the water feature is lovely. I can see Jiffy is happy there too.

What is the name of those purple spike-y plants?

btw - pretty JM pic in your mood theme.

Domestic lupin looks quite different than the wild variety. The leaves are almost the same. The lupin in SW Colorado are budding but have not started blooming yet.

Your brother and his wife are definitely good gardeners.

Putting in all that effort has given them a gorgeous low maintenance garden to enjoy now, I can see. No lawn to mow!!

Love that water feature too.

Great garden, great flowers AND a waterfeature. No wonder Jiffy is happy exploring. They did a fabulous job at making a low maintenance garden.

Very nice! I like the hot pink, trumpet-shaped flowers. At first glance, they made me think of impatiens (sometimes they're that color), but impatiens are flatter.
