As most of you know I'm reading a modern version of The bible in the mornings ... "The MessagE".  As well as bbeing in modern language it is also paraphrased.

However, yet again, a verse lept out at me ... from 2 Kings:-

"Hezekiah put his whole trust in the God of Israel.
And, God for His part, held fast to him through all his adventures"

I just loved the phrasing.  Rather than saying God was there in his life, it is a much more positive ... and fun, way of looking at a lifespan.

As my adventures continue, I pary that God is also with me ... and those that I love and care for.

Oh I love the Message! I have two editions of it. The *only* thing I am not keen on, is that it doesn't mark which verse or chapter you're reading.

It brings the old words to a new life does The Message, I love it.

Yeah, it is like a thesaurus, it converts almost everything in all possible forms of English. :-/

It is a lovely verse.

I don't know the Message as I'm not really church going. But I do believe in caring for another person and doing on to them as you want them to do onto you.

*huggles*
